- QUESTION:The FT-891 transceiver will be lottery drawn for those who have not participated in the RDXC since 2020.
THE QUESTION: I participated in contests between 2020 and 2023, but I used my OLD call sign. I currently have another NEW call sign. Can I join the lottery?ANSWER:Unfortunately NO!
This point means: lottery rules require a PERSON (not just a CALLSIGN).
If you participated in RDXC within 2020-2023 years by using YOUR OWN OLD callsing, but now your own callsign is DIFFERENT (NEW) it means the 2024-lottery is not for you, sorry...
BUT! Do not forget: there is another opportunity - SunSDR2DX transciever could be yours (lottery draw) after making 300 confirmed QSO and sending the log before the deadline... - QUESTION:I was a part of a TEAM that played RDXC within the period of 2020-2023 by using TEAM's callsign (not mine).
I plan to participate in RDXC-2024 by using my own callsing. Can I try my chance in the lottery then?ANSWER:YES OF COURSE!
Just make at least 300 confirmed QSO (we recommend to make at least 400 in case you lose some of them due to UBN) and send your log before the deadline! Good luck!
